The Guatemala Craft Sector Export Initiative (GCSEI) project was funded by USAID’s Office of Microenterprise Development and was implemented jointly by ATA and the Guatemalan Association of Exporters of Non-Traditional Products (AGEXPRONT).

With a USAID investment of $780,000 during the three years and five months, the GCSEI project ended with great overall success, substantially surpassed its program goals by leveraging US$1.8 million in sales (approximately 300% of the project goal) and impacting more than 8,000 microenterprises, most of whom are rural women. The project also made a long-term impact in the content and quality of sector intervention provided by AGEXPRONT in Guatemala.
