Zambane is the Zulu word for potato, and the potato has become more than food for a group of self-employed women in Masiphumelele and Ocean View townships in Cape Town. Using potatoes cut into various patterns, these skilled artisan block print, or potato print, textiles for home decor and fashion.- South Africa Program
