La Collpa
The La Collpa artisans are a small group of weavers working together in this home-based workshop in the Cajamarca region of Peru. The workshop, although rural, houses wool processing equipment and several looms outfitted with combs and filters that allow the artisans to achieve a very fine quality weave in their textiles. Design inspiration for their products comes from an ATA sponsored design and technical consultants, as well as the artisans’ own imaginations.
