Brahima de S
Project Dates: 2007 - 2012Brahima de S is small workshop of five people and is affiliated with the VAO (Village Artisans de Ouagadougou). They are primarily a dyeing workshop, which specializes in bogolan (traditional mud dyeing) and some modern dyeing. They create some finished products, such as pillows, however the majority of their production is in fabric pieces which are then dyed and exported. These base fabrics are purchased through the local the villages.
