Artes Mondlane
Artes Mondlane was established in 1992 in Mozambique. The owner, Carlos Mondlane, is a well-known wood carver himself with an established business at local craft markets. Working with the Aid to Artisan program he realized that market demand for the elegant Mozambique woodcarvings, fashion accessories and home furnishings, was far greater than his own production could meet. As their representative, Artes Mondlane now represents and exports fine wood products from numerous carvers throughout Mozambique.- Mozambique
