Delta
Established in 2004 by Dina and Yassar Rahal, Delta began by selling Egyptian handmade products on EBay.Project Date: 2010-2012
Results: The company has since evolved into a production and manufacturing facility in Cairo. Now all products are hand produced in a small workshop in Giza or in artist’s homes. Currently employing four full time artisans, Delta is hopeful for a continued increase in sales to bring on additional workers. As part of Delta’s commitment to support their artisans, payment is per piece when there are large orders to fulfill and by the week with smaller orders.
