Alpaca Style
Hand-embroidered shawls have been fashioned and worn in the Bolivian Andes since the colonial period. Some are hand-embroidered and some embroidered by machine, their traditional scarves and capes are worn by women in their highland home, El Alto, and they also have the production capacity to provide their new designs to fashion centers of Europe and the U.S.
